That sounds closer to what I was thinking yeah.
I'm not entirely sure how we'd be able to test what the app depends on before
loading it. Do we have to load up the app file and trust the deps are correct?
I'm not entirely certain on how to handle people moving stuff around on the
filesystem while the code is loaded into the VM. Perhaps just telling people
"don't" is enough?
Not sure about removing install things via Makefile, but I would agree the
scope is probably outside the level of CouchDB.
