I think it is ok to deprecate WP7 considering WP developers already have to 
decide dropping WP7 support for their apps when using WP8 specific features. 
Also devs can still count on earlier versions of Cordova to deploy their apps 
to WP7.

That will certainly give the great team working on WP support the opportunity 
to spend more time on WP8. (I can hear Jesse and Sergey cheering from here... 
:-))
