Hi Gavin, and hello Comdev,

Thank you for approving ALC Ghana, and for the detailed next steps.
Ezra, Julius and I are excited to get started, and we're grateful to
have Rich as our mentor.

A few updates from our side:

- Confluence: I've requested an account through selfserve with the
username cerebrocerberus. Ezra and Julius are requesting theirs and
will share their usernames here once done. Please add us to the Ghana
pages when the accounts are approved.
- Slack: we don't have accounts on the-asf.slack.com yet, so we'd
appreciate invites for all three of us. We'll say hello in #alc once
we're in.
- Reporting: we'll submit our first report at the end of November. It
will be a setup report: accounts, an intro call with Rich, our first
team meeting, the ALC Ghana wiki pages, and conversations with a few
other chapter leads.

We'd rather take the time to plan our first meetup properly than rush
one out, so we're aiming for January 2027. We'll use November and
December to secure a venue and line up speakers who work with Apache
projects locally.

Rich, we'll get in touch with you separately to set up a short intro call.

Thanks again. We're looking forward to building ALC Ghana with everyone's help.

Best regards,
Seth Mensah
On behalf of ALC Ghana (Ezra, Julius and Seth)
