Not relevant here, as the project in this case is ComDev. Given that the logos are visible on apache.org, and the logos site links there (click the 'Original' button), I don't see a pressing need to migrate to Git. There is quite a bit of work involved in migrating, e.g. all references in websites and scripts will have to be investigated and potentially changed.
