Not relevant here, as the project in this case is ComDev.

Given that the logos are visible on apache.org, and the logos site
links there (click the 'Original' button), I don't see a pressing need
to migrate to Git.

There is quite a bit of work involved in migrating, e.g. all
references in websites and scripts will have to be investigated and
potentially changed. Quite apart from migrating the repo itself, which
can be non-trivial if one wants to keep all the history. Been there,
done that.
