Hello Sai Charan,

mentors@ is the list for mentors only, not for GSoC contributors :)
I can recommend you to check this page: [1]

Then find the project you would like to participate in here: [2]
(you can filter by your favorite language :))

Additionally you can search for the "gsoc2025" label in JIRA [3] :)

Also we recently added a page in our community website with projects
that have "Good Frist Issues". You can see it here: [4]

It might help you to know where to start.

Please send any additional questions to the dev@community mailing-list
or better to the dev@ list of the particular Apache project you would
like to contribute :)

> Subject: Inquiry About Contributing to Apache GSoC Projects
> I hope you are doing well. I'm Sai Charan, and I am a third-year Computer
> Science student interested in contributing to your projects through Google
> Summer of Code (GSoC).
> I have experience in Python, Javascript, Java, C and I am eager to apply my
> skills to real-world open-source development. Could you please guide me on
> how to get started with contributing to your organisation's projects, any
> beginner-friendly issues to explore as per my skills, and the best way to
> engage with the community?
> Looking forward to your guidance and the opportunity to contribute.
> Best regards,
> Sai Charan
