Hi Jason,

The Apache Cassandra community hosts virtual meetups using Zoom. They're
recorded locally and the videos are uploaded to the Cassandra community
YouTube channel. We host a "town hall" event monthly, contributor meetings,
and marketing working group meetings (these are only available on the wiki,
though, not the YouTube channel). It's all pretty easy to do.

You can also use a tool like StreamYard or Restream to stream directly to
YouTube (and skip the step of having to download/upload).

You might also consider hosting meetups at different times, e.g. 8am one
time and 4pm the next time, to enable others to join live. We tried this
with the Cassandra community and no one showed up to the afternoon
meetings, so we stopped doing it - but it may work for you.

I hope this helps, and let me know if you have additional questions.

Warmly,
Melissa
