Sebb commented on COMDEV-536: ----------------------------- I agree it does not make sense to lump bot traffic with the rest. However, that does not appear to be something that can be solved by changes to the Reporter code. AFAICT the statistics come from Kibble, so changes will have to be addressed there. > Reporter Tool should filter out stats for bots > ---------------------------------------------- > > Key: COMDEV-536 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/COMDEV-536 > Project: Community Development > Issue Type: Improvement > Components: Reporter Tool > Reporter: Brian Demers > Priority: Major > > Apache Shiro Recently migrated to GitHub. It would be useful to see the > project statistics excluding bot traffic, to better gauge community traffic. > For example, this quarter 103 Pull Requests were opened in `apache/shiro`, > only 23 of them were from a human. > > *NOTE:* Bot traffic IS still useful, for example if Pull Requests opened by > > a bot are not merged, or are sitting open for a long period of time, that > > may signal something to the PMC (or maybe the bot isn't useful). > Example GitHub issues/PR filter: > ``` > created:>2023-06-15 -author:app/dependabot > ``` -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.20.10#820010) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscr...@community.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: dev-h...@community.apache.org
