re-reading status from 2018:
- we were trying to create svn2git read-only mirrors in INFRA-16355,
- we had to create standard trunk/tags/branches in svn for reporter
http://svn.apache.org/viewvc/comdev/reporter.apache.org/ and projects
http://svn.apache.org/viewvc/comdev/projects.apache.org/
- initial tests of svn2git mirror based on the move was available
https://github.com/apache/comdev-reporter/ and
https://github.com/apache/comdev-projects/
- but we never made it updated: the discussion stopped without clear
validation/invalidation, just seeing that only new commits after the standard
trunk/tags/branches introduction in svn were visible = a limitation we can't
avoid
let's continue: INFRA-24229 opened
we'll see the Git mirror after 4 years of updates...
