As a Victim of Domestic Violence from 16 years old and Mental Abuse from as far back as 5 years old I am very disappointed in the current [SYSTEM]. In the past 12 months I have been into Emergency Accommodation 3 times and even though I was proactive in sourcing funds and housing in those times I could never find the right information, instead each department or company would hand me off to another. I was going in circles and it wasn't a good experience. Once I came out of Emergency Accommodation there was no on going support and it was hard to let go of the toxic abuse I was living in. So as of June 28th I started my journey to free myself from this negative stigma and want to help other woman find the Support they need when faced with leaving their Homes, Partners or Lifestyles.
