So can we pick any "good first" / "help wanted" issues from Github and add
them under the ComDev project in the task list?
Please find a small example of such issues here [1].

This will populate the task list on the ComDev website and also help
newcomers find tasks easily and get started if they don't already have a
project in mind.

Is there a better way to keep it updated?
Would love to know your views.
