I should clarify something. I said this the last time I called for volunteers, but neglected to do so this time. Since this is a way that people are representing, and speaking for, the Foundation, I'm only able to accept people who are committers. So, if I cannot find you in the committer roster, I'm sorry, I will not be able to add you to the list.

ComDev is nominally responsible for our Facebook presence - https://www.facebook.com/ApacheSoftwareFoundation/

We need more volunteers to ensure that it isn't a toxic wasteland. Volunteers serve three main purposes:

* Post occasional content (drawing from Sally's weekly newsletter is always a great way to do this).

* Moderate and possibly remove off-topic content (advertising, trolling, spam, etc, etc)

* Respond to the occasional (twice a week, maybe?) chat messages that we receive. These are almost always tech support questions, which will be answered by "The Apache Foo project has their website at foo.apache.org and their mailing lists may be found at https://lists.apache.org/list.html?us...@foo.apache.orgĀ  The ASF has 200+ projects, and each project is responsible for their own user support." (That's my template anyways.)

Volunteers for this role should be active Facebook users (so that you'll actually see the notifications). You can do one or many of the above tasks. We just need more people so that this doesn't get neglected.

Thanks!
