Hello,

I believe and admire your mission of creating and maintaining such a
community which focuses on inventing new and better solutions to help
people and organizations manage data or business challenges for free.

Your mission is noble and meaningful besides the intellectual attraction as
I'm a very curious person.

I'd like to be part of the Apache community by donating my time to serve.

I noticed all the volunteering roles at your website are technical
(programming).

To manage such a large community with huge amount of projects, emails,
events, and interactions with different levels of people in different parts
of the world, I can imagine the workload is beyond just the coding or
translation of the coding for the open source projects. You will need
people like me who have all the skills that are not technical: event
planning and management, relationship and communication management,
accounting and finance, auditing and risk management.

If there is any workload I can help reduce from your shoulder, I'm willing
to contribute to this community.

Although I'm a CPA and CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), I'm passionate
about learning technology.
I spent a whole day learning Hadoop and big data yesterday. Then I posted
a blog at my website: www.HYRConsulting.com. I also shared this blog at my
LinkedIn page: https://www.linkedin.com/in/haoningrichter/

You may laugh at my write up on technology as my write up may not be
sophisticated or even wrong but I'm making my best efforts to learn so that
I can contribute.

Thanks for your attention and consideration!

Haoning
