Project uima had published a META and META.asc file (on my request).
A META file is used by checker.apache.org ; the file contains project meta info

who signed what.
It appears that publishing the uima/META{.asc} files triggered an automated mail

This makes no sense, of course, so perhaps reporter can ignore META{.asc} files,
like KEYS files (I'm guessing here).
