Hi All During a chat at the OSSummit in Prague this week, I found out that we have a ComDev Jira instance so am looking to get it revitalised.
For example â we are currently doing some work to translate the ASF brochure into several languages so that it can be printed and made available for various events. It could also be used as a event pack for any of our project putting on an event. This work has been created as a Jira ticket as a task that Piergiorgio is working on (Thanks PJ!) I've asked the infra team to change the Jira notifications from the ComDev commits list to this dev list as I think having Jira notifications going that list is not the right place. So watch out for them and if you can help on any of the tasks coming through then please feel free to join in and pick something up. This re-direction is a trial and if we find that the Jira traffic is affecting the use of this dev list then we can look at creating something specific such as an issues or notifications list so lets see what happens. Also as part of the trial I've also linked the Jira notification to our ComDev HipChat room. Let's see how we can use our tools in a better way to do what we need to do.
