Hi Christine, I'm not an ASF committer, just a member. I work on a development team at Ft. Bragg, NC, in support of an application that utilizes a Solr search engine. I haven't programmed in many years; I do requirements analysis, quality assurance and technical documents. I'm interested in supporting the panel, if you need someone, although I'm only on the user edge of open source. I can provide the perspective of a woman working in the warfighter environment, as a government contractor. I also had the privilege of knowing Admiral Hopper personally during the years (1983-85) that I worked as a Computer Science instructor as the U.S. Naval Academy.
