Hello again Apache Community... As promised, the site for the first Geode Summit site has been launched along with a call for papers: http://geodesummit.com/
The Geode Summit for Apache Geode (incubating) is Mach 9, 2016 in Palo Alto. We are accepting relevant papers about how to use, administer, or integrate with Apache Geode (incubating), and its ancestral users from GemFire. Speakers attend for free. Early bird registration as an attendee is a nominal $29, and this expires Jan 31st. We look forward to seeing you there. -Greg On Tue, Dec 15, 2015 at 3:46 PM, Gregory Chase <gch...@pivotal.io> wrote: > Greetings Apache Community, > > In conjunction with the Apache Geode PPMC, the Pivotal user community would > like to sponsor a single day event to support the Apache Geode community > on March 9 in Palo Alto, California. > > This event would be open to the public with a small nominal entrance fee to > cover some expenses. > > We will be asking members of the community to contribute presentations and > content. > > We anticipate a critical mass of of long time users and developers of the > technology, in addition to having many of the committers present. > > What kinds of support would be available from Apache to help us make the > event a success? > > Thank you in advance! > > -- > Greg Chase > > Director of Big Data Communities > http://www.pivotal.io/big-data > > Pivotal Software > http://www.pivotal.io/ > > 650-215-0477 > @GregChase > Blog: http://geekmarketing.biz/ >
