Ross, this is great news! I'm CCing my colleague Lei who is not only one of the chief hackers on Apache HAWQ (incubating) but also a team leader of the Pivotal Beijing team. Lei and I have been talking about getting that team (all committers of HAWQ) to help ASF in its Roadshow in China. I think this will help Lei's guys to master the Apache Way even quicker while at the same time helping foundation by having local Chinese folks advocating for how we do things.
