I have now got a login (with root) on projects-vm, and have set up reporter.a.o so that it is now running off code which is in SVN.
However there are several items that need to stored in SVN somewhere so they can be recreated as necessary. For example: * the crontab entries for each application. These may have sensitive data in them. * the authorization files for application roles * the startup entries - I cannot find details of where pubsubber.py is started on a reboot. Ideally we also want to run it for reporter as well (or maybe combine them). Also, the system currently says it needs a reboot. I have sufficient karma to do it, but I have no idea how to trouble-shoot if anything goes wrong. And who needs to agree to a reboot? Hopefully someone can provide answers to some of these queries.
