Agreed. IMO, the wider the net for the CFP, the more selection of top-notch proposals we get, which means more great presentations which drive larger audiences and number of attendees.
In other words, promotion of the CFP is critical for success of a conference. Yes, I saw LF do almost no promotion of it.
