Hi Ankit,

My best suggestion is to find a project that you also use often. By
using it, you will know what's missing from the project. You will
become better at the job and get more satisfaction from you work.
You can find a list of projects here:
http://projects.apache.org/indexes/quick.html . I suggest you first
look at incubating projects.

I'm one of committers for Apache James - it's an email server written
in Java (it also has a lot of tools for email related work, like
mime4j - for MIME processing). If you're interested in trying it out I
can give you some directions around.

Cheers,
