I think this might be better done driven by FOAF/DOAP, as we're trying to do for local mentors and apache speakers. That way we avoid having to duplicate things, and we have a consistent way for people to list themselves and their details for our various activities.

(We wouldn't necessarily do it using the same code as the local mentors / speakers, as for this we'd want a general listing rather than find near. That said, some of the ideas for the speaking thing going forward might want a general listing too, so it could tie in...)
