We can certainly try to team you up with a mentor. However, be aware our 
mentors are not here to teach you to code. They, and the project community, 
will help you get to grips with the project structure though. 

Your first action should be to search for issues with a label of "GSoC"  or 
"mentor". These issues are ones that are thought to be appropriate for someone 
at the start of their career. 

Once you have found an issue you might want to tackle post them here and we'll 
help you with the next step.
