I'm not sure what you are proposing. Adding a new filter to IO that behaves like Ant? Adding a new filter to IO that behaves like Python? Are Ant and Python expressions _exactly_ the same_? Even if they are the same today, what happens when Python decides to change? I am assuming Ant is in maintenance mode so won't change in this area. Augmenting the current wildcard filter? How would this affect compatibility?
