Ok. Here is what I'd like to do: - Continue with the vote on rc4 and release as-is if the vote passes. - Update the geometry master branch to remove the docs folder from the binary release package. This will fix the issue for future releases. - Update other commons multi-module projects (rng, numbers, statistics, math) with the same fix in order to ensure consistency between projects.
My reasons for wanting to continue the vote on this rc are as follows: - I have need of a full commons-geometry release for other projects. - I have a small window of time in my schedule right now to perform the release. If another rc is needed, it might be several weeks before I'm able to create one. - Previous commons projects have been released with this issue (e.g. rng 1.3 [1], 1.2 [2], ...) with no reported user impact I am aware of. All of the project documentation is available through other channels.
