I've answered on JIRA:
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MATH-1591
[Discussion should indeed continue here.]
And in that vein:
I've looked at various implementations for FMA in other languages and I've
looked at the comments from Alex Herbert.
The class DoublePrecision seems to be very useful but it's in the
org.apache.commons.numbers.examples.jmh.core package rather than a convenient
package.
Is this by design? Is the functionality available from somewhere else?
Cheers
