As he put it, anyone can create a GitHub repo so why does it need to be under the apache user. He hasn’t formally made a proposal for that and I’m not sure how I would vote on it if he did. He does have a point. At the same time I’m not sure I’d close off doing experimental or early development within the ASF space.
