Geez, could everyone please take a deep breath before replying? I've also been annoyed by jira spam during the years and deal with it. This is a dev mailing list. Deleting those emails with an easy to match subject should take 10s. And while I personally find it is useful (at least for minor releases), I also would have preferred, if this was discussed first.
