Hi. A timing utility was proposed by Otto Fowler for inclusion into [Lang]: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LANG-1373
Gary questioned whether it was appropriate to include it in [Lang], and suggested the creation of a new "Commons Perf" component. I argued that the feature could be included in a specific "timing" module of the new [Testing] component currently under development (mainly by Gary). More opinions are needed on * the definition of "testing" and scope of "Commons Testing", * where the "StackWatch" feature should end up.
