Gregory, I think now we are ready for an release. There are some open things but I think it is better to come to an end. One thing which is open is writing some release announcement wording on interface changes, new java requirement and new features. Should I put this into the (auto generated) RELEASE-NOTES.txt with a manual commit or better add (multiple) lines to the description= attribute in changes.xml?
The release-notex.txt are already commited, I will also deploy a new site on my private account before RC1, anything else needed?
