Hi all, during the vote for Commons Lang 3.2, two issues were identified, namely: LANG-937: Fix missing Hamcrest dependency in Ant build [1] LANG-938: Build fails with test failures when building with JDK 8 [2]
I've fixed this issues, so I want to release a bug fix for Commons Lang 3.2. Lang 3.2.1 RC1 is available for review here: https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/dev/commons/lang Maven artifacts are here: https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/orgapachecommons-003/org/apache/commons/commons-lang3/3.2.1/ Details of changes since 1.1 are in the release notes: https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/dev/commons/lang/RELEASE-NOTES.txt http://people.apache.org/~britter/commons-lang3/3.2.1-RC1/site/changes-report.html I have tested the maven and the ant build using JDK 6, 7 and 8. The tag is here: https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/commons/proper/lang/tags/LANG_3_2_1_RC1(rev. 4047) The site is here (broken links are expected and will be fixed during site publication): http://people.apache.org/~britter/commons-lang3/3.2.1-RC1/site/ Clirr report: http://people.apache.org/~britter/commons-lang3/3.2.1-RC1/site/clirr-report.html Note: I've configured Clirr to compare to version 3.1 instead of 3.2 for two reasons: 1. I think it's important the keep the information about the three error in 3.2 around, since a lot of users may not have updated to 3.2 yet 2. Point releases must not introduce API changes, so it makes no sense to compare to the corresponding minor release - the clirr report would always be empty Rat report: http://people.apache.org/~britter/commons-lang3/3.2.1-RC1/site/rat-report.html Keys: http://www.apache.org/dist/commons/KEYS Please review the release candidate and vote. This vote will close no sooner that 72 hours from now, i.e. after January 08 2014 at 19:30 CET [ ] +1 Release these artifacts [ ] +0 OK, but... [ ] -0 OK, but really should fix... [ ] -1 I oppose this release because... Thanks!
