Adding an option builder leveraging annotations would be the next sensible step. But let's release CLI 1.3 first as it is right now, I don't think we should delay it more. JCommander is a great project, however I doubt Cédric Beust is interested in joining the party, he doesn't need Apache to run a successful project.
