Hi Elijah!!

nice to hear back from you!

If I recall correctly, we discussed two main topics before cutting the
first Release Candidate:

1) we agreed on dropping the confusing CatalogFactory, or at least
making it more user friendly

2) parser APIs change - there is a prototype patch on CHAIN-76 which
aims to drop Digester and adopt Jackson, in order to support multiple
formats - you spoke about YAML format to describe Chains, Jackson
would dinamically supply it (I mean, without adding new code!).
In the meanwhile, I started contributing to jackson to fill missing
parts (that I had to add in my Chain patch). I have to take a look if
latest Jackson releases contain my contribution and give another try
in Chain - the proposed patch is anyway a little far to be completed,
so I'll need your help to get it done!

All the best, have a nice day!
-Simo
