Back in October 2011, there was an Incubator thread about the possibility of BeanShell being moved to the ASF. Reactions were generally positive, but nothing actually happened. I'd like to restart the process, assuming the original authors are still willing.
If BeanShell is to be housed at the ASF, it needs somewhere to live. I suspect it would be too small to be a standalone TLP. Commons could be a good place, as we already have JEXL (and Jelly). What do others think?
