we've had that feature available for more than one year[1] (see bottom page, generics added on 11.10.2010 23:39:15) and not released yet, when proposing the 2.0-beta1[2] the community rejected the proposal and people is still waiting for it - maybe because only Gary and I explicitly requested for it, is not enough?
