As feared http://people.apache.org/~bayard/commons-lang3-3.0.1- RC1/site/changes-report.html#a3.0.1 states XSTR-727 as fixed for 3.0.1, but it has been postphoned. However, since I expect you to modify changes.xml anyway because of the release date of 3.0.1, you may drop this line as well.
