I was just looking through the poms for MINA. It looks as though only the parent POM and mina-integration-xbean have a description.
It would be helpful to have descriptions in the other modules too. Also, the parent description is: Apache MINA is a network application framework which helps users develop high performance and highly scalable network applications easily. It provides an abstract event-driven asynchronous API over various transports such as TCP/IP and UDP/IP via Java NIO. >From the branding point of view, Apache MINA should not be used as a noun, only as a qualifier to a noun, so it cannot be the subject of a sentence. Maybe it could be reworded something like: Apache MINA software implements a network ... It's important that the first (or only) mention of MINA clearly uses the word as a qualifier, not a noun. I don't think this is blocking on the release, but it should be fixed before the next one ideally. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscr...@commons.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: dev-h...@commons.apache.org
