Yes you are right... I used the "manual way" here described in some other commons-documents. I will change it with the parts of the M2-Procedure http://wiki.apache.org/commons/CreatingReleases from B7 This also clarifies my question on the site. relesae:prepare stages the site, mvn site-deploy deploys it. I will make an update here also.
