Jake, In r958301 [1], I've added a basic website for [scxml-js] and deployed it here:
http://commons.apache.org/sandbox/gsoc/2010/scxml-js/ When you get a chance, please take a look at the m2 site plugin [2] used to generate the site. 'mvn site' generates it locally and 'mvn site:deploy' deploys it to the web server (deployment will need some configuration, see site plugin docs for details). Many Commons components use the changes plugin [3], I've added a stub change log which shows up here [4] in case you want to use it. Its built with the site. See other Commons sites for the kind of content and improvements we can make over time (such as a user guide). I think a page on the current build (say, called 'building.xml' in src/site/xdoc) would be a good addition to the site using content from the README (some folks tend to prefer site docs over READMEs). At some point, we should host the live demo on the site to showcase the value.
