I think there was some tooling, probably as part of Archiva, to
regenerate the files from the file system contents, but it's gonna be
probably faster just to manually fix the files this time

Several commons components had m1 releases in the m1 repo get metadata
generated and pushed to http://repo2.maven.org/maven2/. When we cut the
first m2 releases to m1-ibiblio-rsynch, the metadata is losing all but the
last release. You can see that in
http://repo2.maven.org/maven2/commons-cli/commons-cli/ and
http://repo2.maven.org/maven2/commons-cli/commons-cli/. I am fairly certain
these two were cut using the release plugin. I guess the problem is that in
the target, m2-ibiblio-rsynch, the earlier releases aren't there. Other
than editing the metadata manually, is there anything we can do to prevent
this happening?

Thanks!
