But you can commit from Git to Subversion if you are a Subversion
committer, thereby allowing Git to be used as a Subversion client.
However committing from Git to Subversion involved a rebase which makes
the Git repository unusable as a peer in a Git repository network.
Bazaar wins hands down on allowing Subversion repositories as a peer in
a DVCS network. bzr-svn allows a complete Bazaar branch (wioth all
metadata) to be stored in a Subversion repository which means you can
treat the Subversion branches as peers in the network of Bazaar
branches.
