Hi Jonas, I think during the development of the modern UI, we looked at two features - regions and S3 as secondary storage and found both were either not maintained, fully functional, or not widely used. So we were not sure if it can be used or if anyone is using it, so they were at the bottom of the list.
Among these two I think S3 as secondary storage should still be supported (or already is, Hoang can confirm?). But "regions" as a feature was never fully implemented or functional via API and in the legacy UI. Do you have any specific use-case?
