Feel free to use the SolidFire storage plug-ins as examples. There are two:
1) Called "SolidFire" - makes use of managed storage (1:1 mapping between a backend volume and a virtual disk) and is zone wide. 2) Called "SolidFireShared" - makes use of standard (non-managed storage) (1:M mapping between a backend volume and virtual disks) and is cluster scoped.
