https://github.com/apache/cloudstack/pull/660 It's a one-line fix to close out CLOUDSTACK-8698: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CLOUDSTACK-8698 The problem was that when a volume was being attached to a VM that was in the stopped state (and the volume was not related to zone-wide primary storage), we were not retrieving a device ID to pass to the hypervisor to allow it to attach the volume to the VM.
