Thanks for the info. I was the one who added a clause to skip mac address if 
address is 0x00 and fail if no valid address is found.
I’m not sure why we do this, get id from mac address but we can do it have a 
patch apply to our branch which injects a fake address so as to get the mgmt 
server some ID. Do you have any other idea to deal with this?
