Every release Citrix QA team is encouraging and asking community participation in specific areas like upgrades / specific feature validation/ defect verification etc to promote QA culture and participation from community. Participation has been very low. Current model may not sustain in long run.
Users that consume your contribution or developers producing the code can definitely participate in QA cycles and help to build community based quality team. QA framework is in place and just need participation and there are several interesting areas that folks can choose and contribute. -----Original Message----- From: Daan Hoogland [mailto:daan.hoogl...@gmail.com] Sent: Friday, February 28, 2014 11:22 AM To: dev Subject: Re: Looking for test folks on the community! Raja, unfortunately Citrix is the only party in the community that can afford a test team. The rest of us steps down from developing to pull their weight in testing. I think all of us are willing to do some testing. The problem is going to be planning the testing that we can do. So I think it only makes sense to focus on your point three and go from there. -- Daan
