If you create an Advanced zone through cloudStack UI, you don't need to do anything above. cloudstack UI will do them automatically. To create an Advanced zone through cloudStack UI: Infrastructure menu > zones > click "Add zone" button > Add zone wizard pops up > click "Advanced" > ....
