Again, great effort! Last week I installed a bunch of servers in a
datacenter to test a couple of things with CloudStack.
I will pick a few PRs which I can test while I'm busy testing other things.

As to how to join, For committers it is easy just open
https://github.com/orgs/apache/projects/668/views/1 and assign PRs to
yourself. For contributors, please mail your github id with the
request to be added to the project.
Note that the project is not completely filled yet (a few weeks to go)
but any PR that can be tested before is welcome as well.

verification. It is hard to verify everything is a live environment
and to keep up with development.
Due to the large amount of open PRs, we (some colleagues and I) have
decided to organise a test-week, ... and give it the superhero name
SuperTestWeek ;) We will try to get as many open PRs merged as we can
in that week.
We cordially invite everybody to join us the week of 6-11 September.
We have a team of 10 people totally dedicated (away from $dayjob) to
the open PRs. But of course the more the merrier.
