On Ubuntu 24.04 LTS I found the described issue with the forwarding traffic back and forth from guests system VMs and the physical interfaces attached to the bridges. There is a bit of inconsistency in the MySQL configurations (e.g., `server-id` and `server_id`) on different pages of the Docs.
