I started a wiki page for this generally: https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/CLOUDSTACK/Docs+in+Process And for this specific feature: https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/CLOUDSTACK/Opening+Firewall+Ports+in+ESXi+5.1 Once you're happy with the docs as written, just open a Jira ticket under the Docs component and send a note to dev@ that you'd like someone to convert to Publican.
