Following our discussions on the roadmap[1], there’s broad consensus that the cherry-pick work from the Greenplum archive repo to Cloudberry is our high priority. As you may know, we’ve already outlined this in a proposal[2]. Now I’d like to share some updates on this work. Thanks to our dedicated contributors, we’ve accelerated the process and completed over 56% of the total work (2,992 commits). We could expect to complete the cherry-pick by February. During this work, we’ve ignored commits related to directories and files that will no longer be used (including concourse/*, hd-ci/*), as well as documentation files (gpdb-doc/*), which have been moved to the Cloudberry site repo and maintained separately.
